Gold Coast Marathon(4th July 2010)

The Gold Coast is in the South East Corner of the State of Queensland, and is about 900kms(560miles), north of Sydney, and about 70kms(40miles) south of Brisbane.

Brisbane Airport is a major international gateway, and there is a train service from the Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast as well bus services.

Gold Coast has its own airport, serviced by two(2) domestic airlines, and it is also a 'minor' international gateway, being serviced by certain budget airlines from Asia and New Zealand.

The Gold Coast Airport is at the southern End of the Gold Coast, which puts it about 35km(22miles), south of the Race Headquarters which are at Southport.
