Mt Mee Classic Trail Marathon(Sun 2nd May 2010)

The Details

This is a new race to the run calendar, but the Mt Mee Classic has been run for the last 16 years over 50km.

The race directors have changed the course to include a 42.195km(26.2 miles) option.

In the 2009 edition of the race, it was about 18km of quiet country roads, and 34km of 'All Weather Roads', though a Forest Park(Very Scenic)

The start is at Dayboro, which is about 40km(25miles) North-east of Brisbane, and the finish is at Mt Mee, about 60km(35miles) North-east of Brisbane.

In the past the Mt Mee Classic is renown for its hills and tough climbs, this new course was no different.

An average runner took about 1.3 times his normal road Marathon time to complete the race
